On March 21st, I participated in the Stop Dirty Banking direct action at the Wells Fargo Headquarters in San Francisco. I was part of a faith contingent that I helped organize through my GreenFaith internship. Even though it was cold, rainy, and windy, people still showed up! It was inspiring to see so many people from different organizations like Third Act and 1000 Grandmothers singing and chanting together.

This week, I am sharing some different swaps that I have done in my own life around hygiene products. Over the last couple years, I have been making swaps and trying new products. In that time, I have switched over to shampoo and conditioner bars. They are great for the health of my hair and save plastic and money.

For those who don’t know me, I’m a first-year MDiv PLTS student studying in Portland, OR. I also have four children, a husband and a small urban homestead. So, I know a thing or two about cleaning.
