Planting as many trees on the sites of ELCA Lutheran congregations in VA as I have time and funds for with the hope that this will raise awareness of the need for small steps to be taken by congregations to show support and desire for care for God’s finite resources.
Restoring Creation Through Collaborative Biodiversity Conservation
The goal is to create a variety of biodiverse areas in and around Southern California through a collaborative effort between congregations and organizations willing to partner with each other in an effort to restore sections of our area to it’s natural state. Allowing for native plants and eventually native species to grow and thrive. Thus restoring Creation as God intended for it to be.
To create an outdoor worship event utilizing local trails and walking paths that allows people in our community to connect with creation in ways that are more focused on rest and building to advocacy than on land as solely a place of work.
