Plenarias Justicia Climática y Fe: Eco-Teología

Rev. Dr. Neddy Astudillo is the Coordinator of the Spanish-language Certificate in Climate Justice and Faith. She is a Presbyterian pastor and eco-theologian who has taught eco-theology at theological seminaries in Bolivia, Guatemala, Mexico, Peru, and the United States. For fourteen years Rev. Dr. Astudillo served Parroquia San Jose, a joint ELCA and PCUSA Spanish speaking congregation in Beloit, WI. Rev. Dr. Astudillo co-founded the Angelic Organics Learning Center, a farm-based nonprofit helping urban and rural people build local food systems in northern Illinois. Student Colloquium: Climate Justice & Faith
The PLTS Green Justice Seminary Initiative and the JST Laudato Si’ Action Committee invite MA and MDiv students at GTU-affiliated schools and centers to present at the inaugural Climate Justice and Faith Colloquium on April 29, 2025. Interested students must submit a proposal for a 15-minute presentation on a topic related to climate justice and faith by April 1, 2026. This colloquium will provide opportunities for presenters and attendees to gain inspiration, ideas, and knowledge for incorporating climate justice into their work and lives.
