Plenarias Justicia Climática y Fe: Cambio Climático y Biodiversidad

The Center for Climate Justice and Faith is launching our 2026 Spanish-language Plenary Series on Climate Justice and Faith. We’re kicking off this new season with a presentation from Biologist Maritza Florian of Colombia. Maritza is Deputy Director of Climate Diplomacy at Transforma Global and a specialist in climate change and biodiversity. A biologist with a master’s degree in human ecology and experience in environmental public policy, project management, and international negotiations, Maritza has worked in the public sector and with NGOs, focusing on climate change adaptation, loss and damage, biodiversity, and human rights. Student Colloquium: Climate Justice & Faith
The PLTS Green Justice Seminary Initiative and the JST Laudato Si’ Action Committee invite MA and MDiv students at GTU-affiliated schools and centers to present at the inaugural Climate Justice and Faith Colloquium on April 29, 2025. Interested students must submit a proposal for a 15-minute presentation on a topic related to climate justice and faith by April 1, 2026. This colloquium will provide opportunities for presenters and attendees to gain inspiration, ideas, and knowledge for incorporating climate justice into their work and lives.
